This blog is a loose conflation of expositions on art, culture, film, fashion, politics, life in Brooklyn, and your average quarter-life neurosis.
Additionally, it will serve as an informal calendar for events at UnionDocs, a documentary arts collaborative where I am a curator-in-residence, as well as a place to post updates on Disco Earth, a Seattle/Brooklyn/Manila-based record label I co-manage. And lastly, the name: Satori in Brooklyn is a nod to one of my favorite poets, Allen Ginsberg.

Yeah Uniqlo is really popular here but mostly just because its cheap. I’d say its equivalent to Old Navy or something. I didn’t know there was one in NY…I wonder if they will branch out to the rest of the country too..
